Izzy loves parties, but not pity parties.

If you want to feel sorry for someone, please don't feel sorry for her or our family.

This blog is for family and friends to keep up with Izzy and to document what a tough little girl she really is...

Don't worry - - she will kick cancers butt!

Chemo Round 8

I'm again attempting to blog from my phone so be patient with me, I'm still learning. I have these great pics from my phone, but it makes it difficult to put them on the blog without them being super small. She looks like a total bug eye with my sunglasses on, but the sun was driving her nuts so I hooked her up.

Round 8 went well. Izzy had fun playing with the polly pockets and play dough at clinic on Monday. I'd say we are almost half way through with treatment, which is pretty exciting! Her counts were a little low, but her red blood count is up. It was nice to have her counts up so well last week, we took advantage of it and went to the Living Plant Aquarium and Tracy Aviary, it was super fun! More pics to come.

Much Love,

  1. She is too cute! I think about you all everyday and pray that Izzy not only kicks cancers butt, but also smushes it in the ground...lol

  2. Keep up the good work Izzy! You are always in our prayers and thoughts. I have one question for you. . . . How come you are always so stinken cute!

  3. She looks awesome! Love the beanie. Izzy looks just like a diva. :) Glad you're more than half way done. Pray that everything continues to get better for all of you. Much love!

  4. Hi Jennie! My name is Amanda Tuckett and I don't know your family personally. But my little sister, Anna, is friends with Bobby. Also, my little boy, Landon, is in Izzy's preschool class. Can I just say that you are amazing?! I love this blog, you are always so upbeat and have so much strength. And Izzy is such a doll!!! I love reading about her, she seems like she is full of personality. I have no doubt that she will kick cancers butt!
Now that I finally left a comment, I feel like less of a stalker :)
We will keep your family in our prayers and we think about Izzy a lot! (Sorry for such a long comment)

  5. I love her hat and sunglasses! I would love to crochet her the cutest hat now she doesn't have hair. E-mail me with your mailing address and I'll send it soon. mdahlene@msn.com I became aware of Izzy and your blog through our friend Suzanne Graham. We were neighbors and friends out in Tooele and have kept in touch through Facebook and her blog.

We LOVE comments, thanks for the support
